Ductless mini-splits and heat pumps both heat and cool from one system, and mini-splits are our strongest line. They're a natural fit for sunrooms, additions the ductwork never reached, and older homes with no ducts at all. Each indoor unit heats and cools its own space, so every room gets the temperature it needs. We install Mitsubishi systems backed by 12 years of coverage on parts and the compressor. Want whole-home comfort from one system? A heat pump does the same job on a bigger scale.

Static shocks all winter and a musty basement all summer come down to the same thing: humidity. We balance it with whole-home humidifiers and dehumidifiers, then add UV lights, air purifiers, and the right filters for your system. When a house needs new ductwork, our shop fabricates it in-house. Every piece is made to fit your home, not forced into it.

Losing hot water disrupts the whole household, so we treat it as a priority. Our team repairs and replaces tank and tankless water heaters, and helps you pick the type that fits your home. We also install water softeners and handle small plumbing jobs, like a dripping faucet or leaky outdoor spigot. One call covers more of the house than you might think.

The K is for Stephen Klebetz. The O is for Orr, the co-owner quoted above. Say it like a knockout, K-O, and you've got the name right. The K learned the trade from the ground up and keeps the office phones covered when the line gets busy. The O writes every estimate and still works on installs, so your quote comes from someone who does the work.
They opened the shop on Page Avenue in November 2021 with a simple idea. Whoever makes you a promise should be the one who answers for it. The crew has grown since then, and that idea hasn't moved an inch.
Today it's a tight, family-run crew of service techs and installers. Five wrapped KO HVAC vehicles head out from Page Avenue every morning. Customers often remember our techs by name, and that familiarity is part of how we work.
The people who quote your job stay with it until it's done. You won't be passed between departments, and if something isn't right, we come back and fix it.
We're a Mitsubishi Elite Diamond Contractor and a Carrier dealer, and both brands were a choice. Mitsubishi systems we install qualify for 12 years on parts and the compressor once they're registered. Carrier backs its equipment with 10 years on parts when it's registered within 90 days of install.
Our shop is on Page Avenue in Kingston, and most of our core towns are about 20 minutes away or less. The crew that comes out knows the area and the kinds of homes here.

Trouble rarely waits for business hours, so our phones don't either. Call us at any hour, and a person picks up. Between 8 and 5, our office answers and gets you on the schedule. After hours, our answering service takes your details and passes them to us. If you smell gas, get outside first and call your gas company.
It means someone takes your call at any hour, not that a truck rolls at midnight for everyone. Maintenance plan members can get emergency repairs after hours, at a separate after-hours rate. Not a member yet? Call anyway, and we'll get you in as soon as the schedule opens.
Make sure the thermostat is set to heat or cool, and give it fresh batteries. Look for a tripped breaker or a furnace switch that got flipped off. A clogged filter can shut a system down, so swap a dirty one. Still nothing? We're one call away.
Financing
Replacing a furnace or AC is a big spend, and it rarely comes at a convenient time. New installs can qualify for 0% financing for 36 months through Wells Fargo or Synchrony. Smaller jobs can qualify for 0% over 12 months. We'll walk you through the terms before you sign anything. All financing is subject to credit approval.

Maintenance Plan
A yearly tune-up catches the small stuff, like a worn part or a dirty burner, before it turns into a breakdown. Our annual maintenance plan keeps your system on schedule, and members save on repair work. Members can also get emergency repairs after hours.
